Trey joined our firm in April of 2016. Born and raised in eastern NC, he is a 2004 graduate of Mt. Calvary Christian Academy in Hookerton, NC and a 2006 graduate of Pitt Community College in Winterville, NC, where he obtained his Associate’s Degree in Business. In 2014, Trey graduated from Fayetteville Technical Community College and obtained his NC Funeral Directing license in 2015. In June of 2012, Trey began his career in funeral service at the highly reputable Smith Funeral Service and Crematory in Greenville, NC. There he learned the necessary and valuable tools that are required in funeral service.
Coming from a strong and close family, the importance of a servant’s heart and the core values in life were instilled at a very young age. Trey states, “I am committed to providing our community with the comfort and strength to help them move forward with the utmost attention, respect and honor that each family deserves.”
Trey and his wife, Lauren McDermott Duncan, a native of Rockingham County, reside in Stoneville with their son, Miles. They are members of Ellisboro Baptist Church.
