Thomas and his wife, Brenda, reside in Madison and are members of the Westside Baptist Church in Mayodan. They have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. He is a past employee of Sears (24 yrs), Checkers Grill & Grocery (14.5 yrs) and Pulaski Furniture (4 yrs). Thomas is an antique car enthusiast and is proud of his 1947 Chevrolet. He also plays the autoharp and enjoys singing.
