Linda is a graduate of Winston-Salem Business College (1968)- Diploma, General Business; Heritage Bible College (1974)- B.A. of Christian Education; Guilford College (1995) - B.A. of Science, Emphasis in Psychology; and completed Forsyth T.C.C. (1997) - Diploma, Funeral Service. Linda is a member of Christian View Pentecostal Holiness Church and serves as church musician. She served in the past as Sunday School Teacher, President of Women's Auxiliary, and member of the church board. She was employed at Jefferson-Standard Life Insurance Co., (1 yr.), Memorial Hospital of Martinsville & Henry County and Betsy Johnson Hospital (10 yrs.), Wackenhut Security Dept./Fieldcrest-Cannon (14 yrs.) and Marco Warehouse, Shipping for E.I. Linda lives on the Anglin Mill Road, Stoneville, and is the daughter of the late Buford Ernest and Gracie Nance Shelton.
