Dawn retired from Stokes County Schools as Payroll Coordinator in 2023. She was a 1985 graduate of North Stokes High School. Dawn has two sons, Caleb and Jacob Carter and two granddaughters, Annabelle Grace and Juliana Hope that are the light of ther heart. She is a member of Morning Star Baptist Church; where she serves as a Sunday School teacher and loves to sing in the choir.
