Wanda "Susie" Feltner Holman Obituary (1956 - 2025)

Wanda “Susie” (Feltner) Holman, 69, of Mayodan, NC, passed away peacefully at home on November 4, 2025, surrounded by her family. Daughter of the late Wilbert Feltner and Dora Welch, Susie was born in Salem, NJ, on May 19, 1956. Her early life was spent in Avondale, PA. She later moved to Lansing, NC, in 1983 and made her final move to Mayodan, NC, in 1987. She was the beloved wife of Danny Holman, Sr., with whom she shared 51 years of marriage. Susie received her education in the Avon Grove School District, graduating in 1975. She was hardworking, God-fearing, and had one of the biggest hearts you could ever encounter. She found great joy in helping others, especially her family. She enjoyed watching hummingbirds, gardening, and, most of all, spending time with her loved ones. She is survived by two sons, Danny (Crystal) and Billy (Allyssa); five grandchildren, Danayjah, Jaden (Aish), Aliyah, D’Angelo, and Maximus; and one great-grandchild, Adonis. She is also survived by four brothers, Wilbert, Johnny (Cathy), Walter (Sis), and Ira; three sisters, Liz (Mike), Bonnie, and Sharon; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Susie was preceded in death by her parents Wilbert Feltner and Dora Welch, one sister, Karen "Kitty" (Feltner) Holman, and one brother, Sam Feltner." Inurnment will be private. Colonial Funeral Home in Madison is serving the family.
