Pansy Wagoner Korn Obituary (1955 - 2020)

Reidsville - Pansy Marie Wagoner Korn, 65, formerly of Lawsonville, passed away, Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at her residence. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 3, 2020, at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel. Inurnment will follow in Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Social distancing guidelines will be observed and face coverings are encouraged. Pansy was born March 28, 1955, in Rockingham County, to the late Jimmy Lee Wagoner and Shirley Bullins Wagoner Corn. She was a devoted Christian and a woman of strong faith. She was retired from Miller Brewing Company, a union representative for local Teamsters 391, and organized multiple charity rides including the 911 Patriot Ride. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Faye Wagoner Blankenship. Survivors include a son, B.J. Korn (Mandi); brothers, Layn Wagoner (Sherry), Keith Wagoner (Denise), and Worth Corn (Jennifer) and nephew, Ben; two grandchildren, Brantley Korn and Carter Pruitt; special friends, Freddie and Frances Korn, and special canine friend Harley, whom she loved dearly. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1027 Albert Pick Rd, Suite 104, Greensboro, NC 27409. Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel in Sandy Ridge is serving the family.
