Kenneth Brandon Woods Obituary (1987 - 2025) - Sandy Ridge, North Carolina

SANDY RIDGE – Kenneth Brandon Woods, born on April 7, 1987, passed away at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the age of 38. He was a beloved father, son, brother, grandson, and uncle. Kenny was a 2005 graduate of North Stokes High School and was employed with Pepsi Bottling Ventures. He loved the outdoors and fishing. He had a passion for going to concerts and eating out with his daughter. Kenny was a fan of the RC Cars and Go-Cart racing. Kenny’s family remembers him as a kind and gentle soul whose love and warmth was so special to all, especially for his daughter. Kenny is preceded in death by grandparents Junior Otis Sisk and Margaret Lea Cardwell Sisk; grandfather Bailey Allen Woods; and niece Breanna Dawn Burrow. Survivors include his father Kenneth Bailey Woods (stepmom Dusty); mother Wendy Sisk Dodson (stepfather Brian); daughter Destini Rae Woods; brother Jeremy David Woods; sister Kelly Michelle Woods Dodson (Jeremy); grandmother Alpha Jean Woods; stepsister Catline Poindexter (Joe); stepbrother Charlie Newsome (Lauren); nieces Audrey Leigh Burrow and Amber Renee Jernigan (Andrew); nephew Brantley David Woods; favorite aunt, Lisa Sisk Bullins; special cousin, Cody Sisk. Also left to cherish Kenny’s memory are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 1 until 2:45 p.m, at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel, and other times at the home of his mother.
