Kelly Scott Easter Obituary (1965 - 2017)

MADISON - Kelly Scott Easter, 52, a loving, devoted husband, father, and paw paw, died on Monday, December 18, 2017, at home. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at Colonial Funeral Home (127 Ellisboro Road, Madison), following the service Wednesday at the church, and other times at the residence. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Mayodan. Kelly was born on March 23, 1965 in Rockingham County. He was employed with Vertellus Specialties and was a member of Osborne Baptist Church. He loved nature, riding his Harley Davidson, and spending time with his family, especially, granddaughter, Adalayna. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Clapp Lawson; brother, Maynard LaGrand "Marty" Easter, and infant brother, Derrick Easter. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kristina Smith Easter; daughters, Ashley Snyder and husband Adam, Bre-Anna Easter, and Cassie Easter; son, Braylon Taylor; granddaughter, Adalayna Easter; parents, Coy Maynard and Rita W. Easter; sister, Sherri Saunders; nephew, Larry Saunders, and sister-in-law, Carol D. Easter. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375.
