James Robert "Bob" Mounts Obituary (1944 - 2025)

On Saturday, September 6, 2025, James Robert "Bob" Mounts passed away at the age of 80. Bob was born in English, West Virginia on December 6, 1944. He served in the Air Force and afterwards graduated from Northeastern University in Virginia with a degree in Computer Sciences. He retired from Swift and moved to Ridgeway, Virginia to live near family. Bob loved to laugh. Oftentimes you would find him reminiscing with his family, laughing about the good times they shared. He loved music and was an exceptional piano player. Above all, he loved animals. He shared his life with many dogs over the years and always took great care of them. Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Florence, his father Thomas; and six of his ten brothers and sisters. He is survived by his brothers Ronnie and Johnnie and his sisters Bonnie and Fahne; in addition to many nieces and nephews; as well as his beloved canine, Boggie.
