Forest Donald Malloy, Sr. Obituary (1946 - 2021)

SUMMERFIELD - Forest Donald Malloy, Sr., 75, left this earthly life on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at his home. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Westminster Gardens in Greensboro with military honors. Mr. Malloy was born on February 28, 1946 in Guilford County to the late Forest L. Malloy and Wealthy Clark Malloy. Forest took great pride while serving his country in the United States Army, being honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, racing and gardening. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Ward Malloy and sister, Patty Malloy Duncan. Survivors include his sons, Forest Donald Malloy, Jr. of Warren, Illinois and Mark Allen Malloy and wife, Tori of Summerfield; grandchildren, Forest Donald Malloy, III, Brook Malloy, Matthew Malloy, Jacob Malloy, Jordan Malloy and Taylor Lancaster and great-granddaughter, Adalyn Malloy.
