Elsie Mae Revis Lee Obituary (1934 - 2021)

LAWSONVILLE - Elsie Lee, 86, passed away, Sunday, June 13, 2021 at LifeBrite Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel. Interment will follow in Shining Light Baptist Church Cemetery. Ms. Lee was born July 31, 1934 in Rockingham County to the late Monroe and Susie Barker Revis. She of the the Baptist faith and was a "precious gentle soul." In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kendall "Jack" Lee; brothers, Clyde and Walter Revis; sisters, Dorothy Terry and Mabel Gibson. Survivors include her son, Charles (JoAnne) Gay; daughter, Carla Walker; brother, James (Pat) Revis; sister, Annie Lou Lynch; grandchildren, Kenny Brady, Chris Walker, Sharon Gay, and Sandy Cook; twelve great-grandchildren, Hunter Walker, Preston Cook, Alissa Walker, Lydia Cook, Lucas Whitfield, Ben Whitfield, Gage Walker, MiKayla Snody, Cameron Overby, Kaitlyn Overby, Christopher Chilton, and Dillon Brady; five great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 1 p.m. until time for the service at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the home of grand-daughter, Sandy (Randy) Cook.
