Audrey "Boots" Gravely Martin Obituary (1946 - 2022)

SANDY RIDGE - Audrey Lee "Boots" Gravely Martin went to her heavenly home Friday, March 25, 2022. She was the best mom and nana anyone could ever hope to have. She loved her children and grandson, with every ounce of her heart but she loved Jesus most of all. She is survived by her daughter, Tanja Gann (Phillip); her three sons, Darryll Martin (Robyn), Venson Martin, and Bryan Martin (Darlene); one grandson, Cambridge Gann whom she cherished; a sister, Patricia "Pat" Riggs; a brother, Kenneth Gravely (Kathy); a sister-in-law, Joyce Gravely; many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much; and all of her Grace Primitive Baptist Church family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Martin; parents, Aubrey and Pauline Gravely; a stillborn son; a daughter, Eva Ann Martin; brothers, Robert Lee Gravely (Mary) and Billy Gravely; and her brother-in-law, Franklin Riggs. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, March 28, 2022, at Grace Primitive Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Martin Family Cemetery, Snow Hill Church Rd, Danbury, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the home of her daughter, Tanja at 140 Percy Lane, Mayodan, NC. In lieu of flowers, Boots wanted all memorials be made to Grace Primitive Baptist Church, c/o Tanja Gann,140 Percy Lane, Mayodan, NC 27027.
